The Doctoral Academy is the community of 4000+ doctoral research students here at The University of Sheffield. This community consists of talented and diverse individuals across many different areas of research which provides a great opportunity for you to network, collaborate and learn from other doctoral students.
We’re here to guide and support you through your doctorate journey and ensure you have the opportunities you need to develop your professional and subject specific skills. However, sometimes things don’t go right and you need extra support. You can find useful information through the Support for Research Students pages and from the Essential Information page.
Check out the Research Collaboration Finder, this tool gives you the opportunity to showcase your research and to find out what your fellow doctoral students are working on. This tool is available for all University of Sheffield doctoral students to contribute to.
